- Can deliver faster (typically in days) compared to hiring someone (FTE) that delivers hopefully within a few months or year’s
- No HR-related overhead and just pay for the services actually delivered (cost + upkeep = revenue)

- Nothing is free. The cost should match the benefit is not hidden in the organization
- May not be part of the social activities and be treated as an outsider
